ginger

chicken
vietnamese pho rice noodles
chicken stock
olive oil
roasted black sesame seeds
sesame oil
pak choi

Cooking Steps

Wash 4 pakchoi branches

Put noodles + water in pot 1

Strip 4 garlic cloves

Skin about a 2x3cm piece of ginger

Grate ginger and press garlic into bowl

Heat up pot 2 and add oil

Add chicken to pot 2

Start heating up pot 1

Cut pak choi into 2cm slices, hang on to the green leafy parts

When chicken is seared, stir through oelek, grated ginger and pressed garlic.

Next stir through the pakchoi slices, add chicken stock cube and add 400ml water (or just add 400ml chicken stock)

After a while, chop up the green pakchoi leaves and add them to pot 2.

Keep tasting the noodles in pot 1, when ready drain them and add to dinner bowl(s)

Next, add pot 2 contents to bowl(s)

Add a drizzle of sesame oil and a sprinkle of roasted black sesame seeds on top
